I like to relax and unwind sometimes this is through walking, swimming or going out socialising, other times it is through quieter pursuits such as a bottle of wine with good company, reading etc.
I have moved back to North Yorkshire after more than a decade in the East Midlands and I am loving being closer to my parents. I love this part of the country but also love to travel here and abroad.
I have 4 children all grown up but dont mind if someone has younger children. I am a very tactile person and like to hold hands.
I have trained as a counsellor and have good listening skills and my own life experiences to call on. I am a very loyal and caring person and will fight for the underdog if needs be, but prefer to empower a person to be strong and confident themselves.
I love to have banter but would prefer to have a deep and meaningful conversation. I am intelligent and can be quite vocal on issues I am passionate about,but I do not push my view point on others and respect that they have the right to see things differently from me.
I like all types of music really depends on my mood. I also like many genre of both books and films. I am quite happy rummaging through junk shops, walking on the moors, skipping along the beach or driving out into the countryside for a picnic.
I like tall, well built men who are protective and caring. I am a very girly girl, without being high maintenance, I take great pride in looking my best. However, if needs be I can dress down and be casual too.
