I was driving down the M3 recently, wondering whether the contents of a car (in my case a Toyota Landcruiser) reveal much about the personality of the owner. So, lets give it a go.
1. An empty skinny vanilla latte takeaway cup - I try to keep fit and eat healthily, but have a bit of a sweet tooth now and again!
2. An 8gb memory stick (I wondered where that was!). I have my own travel related PR business working from home; it takes me overseas for a few weeks a year.
3. A folding hoof-pick. I have two horsey daughters (and two non-horsey sons) and yes they are still all at home. The eldest is doing a Masters in Marketing; the youngest (11) a Masters in Xbox.
4. An Ascot members ticket hanging from the mirror -a left over from a recent Client corporate do day; good fun, but I am not that mad about racing, though horses are a passion. We have two and I spend much of the summer driving a trailer around
5. A 2009 road map book ? Im still waiting for someone to buy me a SatNav! I seem to do a fair amount of driving, and dont mind it, but do NOT want to get into any more long-distance relationships -sorry if you live in Clwyd!
6. A lead. I am an animal person - apart from the horses we have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a gerbil. They are all mad (cant really speak for the gerbil) and, along with the kids, mean my household is pretty chaotic.
7. A pair of shoes. I like to wear heels (though not every day by any means), and prefer my man to be taller than me if possible, eg over 5ft 11!
8. Music cds - pretty varied really: Bob Seger, Macolm Macdonald, Fleetwood Mac, Seal, Black Eyed Peas, Adele, Van Morrison
9. The car itself is past its prime but everything is still in good working order (apart from a couple of rusty bits). Its pretty much as it was created; no added false bits, no re-coloured paintwork. Its trusty, reliable and pretty responsive if treated well. Just like me really!
